No luck, I

1. Updated everything, including windows
2. Reset the app
3. Ran the Troubleshooter
4. ran wsreset.exe

None of these helped. Any ideas?

I too found a couple of applicative posts from our Windows forums that may additionally helpful as well:

Lastly, you may wish to try deleting the Windows Shop cache equally that can cause the error lawmaking you're getting to pop up as well:

• Press Windows fundamental or open Windows Start, then type
  wsreset in the search bar
• Right-click on wsreset.exe and select Run as Ambassador
• This will make clean the Windows Store cache. Make sure you don't press annihilation while the control prompt is working.
• Windows Store will open when it's been reset and you should restart your PC.

Later researching online, I came across these troubleshooting steps within our community for the result that you're describing.

1. Open File Explorer.
2. Navigate to the following:
   • C:\Users\[your profile]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\TokenBroker
3. Delete the Accounts and Cache folders.
4. Attempt the Xbox app again.

Cheers for reaching out to united states of america and responding. Nosotros appreciate your efforts and want to help equally best every bit nosotros tin. I was looking into this issue and found that someone else had the same affair happen. They said "I redownloaded and reinstalled the Xbox
app and the Xbox Identity provider via the windows store with a little help from the
powershell app to sort out the Microsoft store."

Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:

i. Click Start, and and so type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

2. Correct-click, and then select Run every bit administrator.

iii. Type the post-obit control to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp*| Remove-AppxPackage

four. Hit Enter.

5. Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

As for the Identity portion:

i. Re-create the link provided Xbox
Identity provider.

ii. When you copy and paste the link open it in Microsoft Store.

3. Install the app then launch Xbox App

4. it should ask you to sign in over again completely.
